Character Snapshots of Video Piece as displayed in Mudhouse Residency Exhibition 2017, Agios Ioannis Cultural Centre, Crete.
Fully created in collaboration with the village residents and residency participants.
Inspired by the narratives of village life and encouraged by the spirit of Mudhouse community, this series of video interviews asked its participants to share a personal rendition of local experience with the artist. Each invited the artist into their personal space and issued their chosen tale in their own mother tongue. The video weaves an ecclectic collection together to establish a new social history featuring the narrators of the mountaintop village as its storytellers. An exceptional thanks to each participant for their contribution to this project.
